Mythx AI is an AI roleplay game set in living worlds. You pick one of 13 hand-built worlds, choose who you play, and arrive as the newcomer. From there you say or do anything in your own words, and the AI plays everyone else and writes the next scene. The people there have jobs, routines and a memory of you. Scenes are illustrated: every scene on Premium, the first few on free play.
Yes. Mythx AI is free to start in your browser, with no credit card and no download: free players get 10 scenes a day, and their first scenes come illustrated (the arrival scene plus 3 more). After that, free scenes continue in text. Sign in with Google, Apple or email. Premium adds unlimited story and 100 illustrated scenes a day.
There are 13 worlds: Emberhollow (a cozy fantasy village), Solenne (an imperial magic academy), The Hollow Lantern (a fantasy tavern you inherit), Bellsworth (a gaslit Victorian London district), Briarwick (a lakeside magic academy), Hartwell (an American college campus), Hoshimori (a hilltop Japanese academy), Tsukimi (a rural Japanese town), Willowbrook (a small modern riverside town), Halcyon (a 1920s river town), Cottonwood (a frontier town), Saltwick (an age-of-sail harbor town) and Solace (a gentle post-apocalyptic settlement). Each is hand-built with its own people and places; you can’t generate a new world from a prompt.
Each scene is written first, then painted to match it a few seconds later. Characters keep the same face and outfit from scene to scene. On Premium every scene is illustrated, up to 100 a day, and unused pictures are saved up to 300. Free play illustrates your arrival and the next 3 scenes; after that, free scenes continue in text, and a gem pack or Premium brings pictures back. You can switch between 22 art styles, and between first-person and third-person views, at any time.
Yes. In the character creator you choose your hero’s look option by option, give them a name, and the AI paints their portrait; there’s no prompt to write. Your first hero is free, and making more needs Premium. Your heroes appear next to each world’s two ready-made characters, and the world keeps your hero’s face while dressing them in its everyday clothes. There is no backstory or personality field: who your character is comes out in how you play.
Between scenes, you choose what happens next: start one of the options on the task card, go find anyone in town, travel to a place you’ve discovered, or rest and sleep to move the clock. Inside a task or a visit, tap Speak to say something, Act to do something, or Next to let the scene play on. You type in your own words, suggested actions are there if you want a nudge, and the AI plays everyone else.
Yes. People remember what actually happened between you in the story, like a favor you did or something you said. A first meeting usually ends with a question about you, and later visits pick up where you left off instead of starting over. Everyone also keeps a daily routine, so where you find someone depends on the time of day.
Yes. Adventures save automatically to your account and appear in your adventure list, and you can keep several going at once. The world clock pauses while you’re away, so you come back at the same hour you left.
You must be 13 or older to use Mythx, and players under the age of majority need a parent or guardian’s consent. Stories are filtered, with no mature setting, and the worlds are gentle by design; even fights in The Hollow Lantern stay at scuffles and bruises. If a scene or picture seems wrong, report it: the iOS and Android apps have a report option on every scene, and on the web you can email support@wexpy.com.
Not inside Mythx. Adventures are private and single-player: there is no multiplayer, public feed or community library.
Mythx AI runs in any modern browser at mythx.ai, and as apps on iOS (App Store) and Android (Google Play). Sign in with the same account and your adventures, heroes and gems carry over. A few things are app-only: in the apps, people in town sometimes come knocking at your door, while on the web you go to them.
Ten: English, German, Spanish, Indonesian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Russian, and Traditional and Simplified Chinese. Choose your language before you start an adventure, because each adventure keeps writing in the language it began in.
The scene text appears as it is written, starting within a few seconds. The picture follows a few seconds after the text, so you can read while it paints.
Yes. Scenes and pictures are generated on our servers, so you need to be online to play.
Refresh the browser tab or restart the app first; your adventure is saved, so you won’t lose your place. If the problem continues, email support@wexpy.com and tell us what you were doing and on which device.
Premium costs $4.99 a week, $9.99 a month or $79.99 a year. Every plan includes unlimited story and 100 illustrated scenes a day, saved up to 300, plus priority support. One-time gem packs from $1.99 are also in the gem store; 10 gems paint one scene.
On the web, open the account menu, choose Subscription, then Cancel Subscription, or email support@wexpy.com. Premium stays active until the end of the period you paid for. If you subscribed in the iOS or Android app, cancel in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings; deleting the app does not cancel it.
Most AI roleplay apps are a text chat with one character, or a story you generate from a prompt. Mythx is a game in a hand-built world: a cast with schedules and memories, a clock, places to travel, tasks to take, and pictures that keep each face consistent. It is single-player and filtered, with no world builder, character sheets, dice or voice.
