Why we built Mythx
We grew up on text adventures and tabletop campaigns — the kind of stories where you decide what happens next. AI finally made those worlds infinite. You could go anywhere, be anyone, and the story would keep up.
But something always felt off: it was all walls of text. You'd imagine a tavern, a dragon, the face of the stranger you just met — and then stare at a paragraph describing it. The picture lived in your head and nowhere else. It felt backwards.
So we built the roleplay app we wanted to play. Mythx draws every scene as it happens, keeps your characters looking consistent from one moment to the next, and lets you actually talk to the people in your world. No prompt engineering, no waiting — just type what you do and watch the story come to life.
